The Adrian Dragon wrestlers traveled to Tracy to take part in the 35th annual Plum Creek tournament. The Dragons lost all 3 duals as they squared off against Minneota, TMB/WWG, and New Ulm.
Adrian was able to get one win in their first dual, losing by a 75-6 margin. Dylan Gyberg returned to action, earning the lone victory for the Dragons as he pinned Josh Laleman in 1:17.
The Dragons won four matches in the second round against the TMB/WWG Panthers. Logan Taylor got the Dragons on the board, as he earned a 7-2 decision over Ayden Horner in the 106 pound match. The next Dragon win came in OT, as Chandler Combs earned a takedown over Tyler Vandendriesse at 132 pounds to win the match by a 7-5 margin. Dylan Gyberg earned his second fall of the day, as he pinned Tyler Timm in 1:37 at 195 pounds. Scot Edwards finished things off for the Dragons, pinning Sam Bauer in 32 seconds to end the dual.
